Richard is an experienced Fractional CFO with more than 20 years of commercial finance experience across Australia and Europe. Having worked with listed companies, multinational organisations, government and growing businesses, Richard brings a practical commercial perspective to helping business owners strengthen financial performance, make better decisions and pursue new opportunities.
For the past eight years, Richard has worked closely with startups, SMEs, established businesses, private equity-backed companies and government-funded organisations, providing senior financial leadership tailored to the needs of each business.

Richard’s career spans a broad range of industries and commercial environments, including:
- Defence & Government: Developing bids, funding strategies and long-term commercial opportunities
- Technology & SaaS: Supporting growth, financial systems, forecasting and commercial strategy.
- Healthcare, Disability & Aged Care: Strengthening financial operations, managing compliance risk and supporting growth in government-funded environments.
- Government & Infrastructure: Developing bids, funding strategies and long-term commercial opportunities.
- Energy, Transport & Infrastructure: Financial leadership through capital projects, systems transformation and operational scale.
- Capital & Transactions: Supporting capital raising, acquisitions, credit facilities and successful business exits.
His experience includes senior roles and projects with organisations such as Amcor, Orange, Telstra, DuPont, BAI Communications, CBD Energy and UNSW.
Richard has also led more than 50 bids and developed price-to-win models that have contributed to more than $150 million in government and private-sector contracts and funding.
